These Terms of Service govern your use of the Claims Doctor website and telehealth medical services provided by Health Data Research Pty Ltd (ABN 39 674 905 376), trading as Claims Doctor. By booking a consultation or using our services, you agree to these terms.
Claims Doctor provides telehealth medical consultations for the purpose of issuing WorkCover Certificates of Capacity and CTP Certificates of Fitness in New South Wales. Our services are delivered via secure video call by registered medical practitioners. We are not an emergency service. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 000.
Our services are available to individuals in New South Wales with a workplace injury (WorkCover) or motor vehicle accident injury (CTP). You must be physically located in NSW at the time of your consultation. You must provide accurate personal, health, and claim information. Providing false information may result in cancellation of your consultation and referral to relevant authorities.
For patients with a valid WorkCover or CTP claim number, consultations are billed directly to your insurer at SIRA-gazetted rates. There is no out-of-pocket cost to you. For initial consultations where no claim number exists, the consultation fee is $85, payable at the time of booking. This fee may be reimbursed by your insurer once your claim is accepted. We reserve the right to update our fees. Any changes will be communicated before your consultation.
You may cancel or reschedule your appointment at any time before the scheduled consultation at no charge. Failure to attend a scheduled consultation without notice may result in a no-show fee. We will make reasonable efforts to contact you before marking an appointment as a no-show.
Claims Doctor consultations are limited to the assessment and certification required for WorkCover and CTP claims. We do not provide ongoing primary care, prescriptions, referrals for non-claim-related conditions, or emergency medical services. Our doctors exercise independent clinical judgement. The content of your certificate reflects their clinical assessment and may differ from your expectations. Certificates are clinical documents, not advocacy documents.
By booking a consultation, you consent to receiving medical services via telehealth (video call). You acknowledge that telehealth has inherent limitations compared to in-person consultations, including the inability to perform physical examinations. If our doctor determines that an in-person examination is clinically necessary, they will advise you accordingly.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Claims Doctor’s liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the fees paid for the relevant consultation. We are not liable for decisions made by your employer, insurer, or any other party based on the contents of your medical certificate. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
